What we collect, what we don't, and why we'd rather hold as little as possible.
Cannabis is sensitive. A list of who buys what is a liability for us and a risk for you, so our approach is to collect the minimum and delete it on a short clock. We do not sell personal information, and we do not run advertising trackers on this site.
When you confirm you are 21 or older, we store a single flag in your browser's local storage so you are not asked again. It contains no identity, it never leaves your device, and clearing your browser data removes it.
If you sign up for drop notifications we store your email address, the page you signed up from, and the date. We use it to tell you when a drop opens. We do not sell, rent or share it. Every message includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing deletes the record.
We measure page views and traffic sources so we can report honestly to our members on the reach their content receives. We use privacy-preserving analytics that do not set advertising cookies or build a profile of you across other websites.
Chamber 23 does not sell cannabis, take payment for cannabis, or take any share of a sale. Drops are announcements. Any purchase happens in person at a licensed Maine retailer, subject to that retailer's own policies and records, which are outside our control and governed by their privacy practices.
Email addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics are kept in aggregate. Anything tied to a specific drop is removed after that drop closes plus a short grace period.
You can unsubscribe at any time, clear your browser storage to remove the age flag, and ask us to delete anything we hold about you by writing to hello@chamber23.com. If you are a resident of a state with a comprehensive privacy law, you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete, or opt out; contact us and we will honour them.
This site is intended only for people 21 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21.
If this policy changes materially we will update the date above and, where the change is significant, tell subscribers by email.
